Resonant extension and bad press for CenturyLink and BGC +2

Resonant has announced that one of its front end licensees has extended its agreement, resulting in three additional design wins:

The expanded agreement covers the addition of two, high-value duplexers and one difficult WiFi co-existence filter. The designs will be designed on a standard surface acoustic wave (SAW) process, but will be competing against more expensive bulk acoustic wave (BAW) devices.
Resonant also filed an 8-K documenting the exercise of warrants and a raise for the CEO.  I continue to worry about further dilution.

BGC has seen a fiduciary duty lawsuit filed by the financial equivalent of an ambulance chaser.  This exact firm made a similar filing against GFI in relation to the CME Group offer, and proved that it had no knowledge of what was really going on in the process.  Whereas there really was impropriety in that case, I can't imagine any sound basis now.

A lawsuit concerning the management of the CenturyLink's retirement accounts is of a somewhat different nature, but may at least result in a settlement.  It could develop into especially bad press in conjunction with the omission of any holiday bonus to employees this year.  Actions like this are simply an unfortunate part of publicly traded securities, but they typically wind up having little effect on the bottom line or stocks.  My own latest CTL article has been in limbo at SA for three days now, but will hopefully be published shortly.
