RESN, INVN and OLED updates ?2

Minor news for multiple stocks this evening...

Resonant reported an EPS loss of 39 cents, missing by 9 cents.  I doubt that merits any concern but what should be worrying is that all the payments from design wins to date add up to just one twentieth of the expenses for the quarter.  That might change when the designs go into products, but I think the evidence says that my fears about dilution are well founded.

Competition continues for InvenSense, with Bosch winning the motion sensing slot in HDK's latest VR headset.  Samsung makes the screens, of course, but it also is saying that it will need more time to introduce foldable products, which probably means we won't be seeing such a product from Apple next year.  That's a mild negative for INVN and OLED too, though the trend towards larger mobile screens is a balancing factor in the latter case.  I continue to think that Coursa Retail is the best hope for InvenSense in the near term.  Wal-Mart reports on the 18th, and I will have a look, but won't send an update unless some evidence turns up.

Another factor weighing on the long-term prospects for OLED is a new method of researching molecules that may be the successors of TADFs.  Note that this is coming out Harvard, whereas UDC has worked mainly with Princeton, University of Michigan and USC.
