Resonant and eMagin news +4

Resonant has issued a press release stating that a licensee has produced a state-of-the-art Full-Band, Band 41 Time Division Duplex (TDD) filter that is required for all handset vendors addressing the China market.  As a reminder, China is the highest volume smart-phone market in the world, and India recently passed America to become #2.  Resonant believes that producing a SAW filter with such capabilities has never been done before, and they did in less than the 12-18 months that were projected.  The filter is currently for sale, and sampling to OEMs, which is one of the final steps towards commercial production licensing revenue for Resonant.  As such, I see this as positively material to RESN shares, though they have not moved much in the pre-market.

By contrast, the eMagin announcement this morning of another development licensing agreement with a tier-one consumer electronics company, specifies that the program would generate revenue if the customer commercializes eMagin's technology.  EMAN is up almost 5% so far, which is not surprising, but I'm not sure it's justifiable or sustainable.
