quick Resonant summary ?3

Found no commentary on crowdwisers that supports, in depth, your remark above. And Seeking Alpha shows only controversy, with the bears seeming to have the better laugh of late -- and no commentary from you.

Sorry,  the incomplete coverage is part of why it's on the pick list, but I thought the answer might be worthwhile for everyone

As I understand it, a truly tunable RF (radio frequency) filter is something that mankind has never been able to do.  Basically, current devices that want to work on multiple RF bands need a separate filter part for each band.  Not only does that increase cost, but in mobile devices, space is precious.

Resonant was founded on patents that they believe will make it possible to design a single filter to be used for a great many RF bands.  Certainly the history with Skyworks shows both how valuable and long that road is likely to be.  While it works on the holy grail, Resonant is also taking baby steps by getting paid to design more modestly new types of filters that it will then be able to collect royalties on, assuming they go into production.

Hopefully that makes the opportunity clearer; as always, feel free to ask further questions.
