Resonant signs agreement with 8th customer +3

Resonant has just announced an agreement with a new customer for development of modules covering five bands.  Unlike prior announcements, this press release does not specify any up-front fees.  Instead it says the the customer is

an established and leading provider of power amplifiers with an extensive customer base in the Asian markets.  For this new client, we plan to work with a new ISN foundry partner to extend the fabless filter model eco-system.
In related news, the House has just delayed the net neutrality hearing that was scheduled for Sept. 7 because none of the companies invited to testify would commit to doing so.  This is all about back-room negotiations, but the regulation is just about how the money flows and who can paid from how many sides for deploying capital rather than actually building something new.  Combine that with U.S. consumers showing ever greater signs of being tapped out, and I see the real money coming from selling 5G network access to corporate customers.  Everyone is fighting to stake out their piece of the pie and that should ultimately be very good for Resonant, as it will multiply the demand for new and more complex radio filters.  I plan to follow up soon with some detailed comparisons on how the changing U.S. telecommunications market should be favorable to CenturyLink, as well.
