CUI's ICE selected by SAP and Fluence update +3

CUI Global has announced a high-profile win for its ICE systems with SAP's Co-Innovation Lab.  Details are once again light, and thus CUI stock is continuing the trend established with the second quarter report and showing no discernible reaction in the pre-market.  Nonetheless, this seems like a significant step forward and a stepping stone for further sales.  The press release notes that data center cooling and power costs are greater than those for the hardware itself.

On a slightly related note, Sony has become the latest company to commit to sourcing all its power from renewables.  It's giving itself until 2040 to do so, and is only 7% renewable at present.  This has been a consistent trend, and Fluence should benefit indirectly.  It has just moved into its corporate HQ in Arlington, VA.  The main thing I note from the story is the 600MW deployed or contracted figure, up 20% in 8 months since inception.  That's solid, but not breathtaking.  I will hope to see growth improve as operations get settled.
