Akoustis CEO permanent and more ?3

The only real news to open the week is Akoustis making its interim CEO permanent, if we want to call it that for a company which appears to be just waiting on the court system pulling the plug.  However, the change in title might foreshadow some deal with Qorvo, which I still think would be unlikely to benefit ordinary shareholders.

Most interesting is the developments surrounding harmonizing blue TADF emitters with yellow for with panels and optimizing associated host materials.  However for the former, the 446hr LT80 stat is still well short of what would be needed for a commercial product.  Still, the progress increases the pressure on UDC to get its blue offering to market.  I note that OLED shares have almost completely recovered from the official delay in that product.

The media storm around Intel also reached crescendo going into the weekend with buyout rumors involving Qualcomm and Broadcom.  These are pointless in my opinion, and though a $5b investment from Apollo is credible, the terms that Intel has gotten from private equity are as much a source of its problems as they are a road to a solution.

I'll also note Nokia getting a 5G win in Vietnam as a minor positive, since I see country as a high growth region.  It's not enough to get me to buy NOK above $4, though.
