Another 8-K filing just dropped disclosing an additional $7.3M in damages awarded to Qorvo, reinforces the opinion given below.

Akoustis just made an 8-K filing documenting actions which have been taken subsequent to the original Qorvo verdict. The main point is a ruling yesterday holding Akoustis liable for a further $11.7M in Qorvo attorney's fees, on top of the $38.6M jury award. Akoustis had filed a motion for appeal or retrial following that and is still awaiting final judgment, but even if that is granted it would most likely have to post an appeal bond, which would further crimp its finances. Whether or not AKTS is delisted, I continue to be of the opinion that bankruptcy is the most probable final outcome here, and that Qorvo will wind up owning Akoustis assets thanks to broken western intellectual property laws. We should know within a month or so of the final judgment, which I expect soon, though there is no official indication on the timing.
