InvenSense licenses software for UltraPrint ?3

Precise Biometrics has announced that InvenSense is paying to use its fingerprint recognition software.  The agreement will include annual licensing and support fees in addition to per-unit payments.  InvenSense has not confirmed the deal, and it will be interesting to see what effect this has on expenses, in advance of the product ramp, which should start showing up in products next year.

It also remains to be seen how well the InvenSense solution will fair against competing products that are already on the market.  As mentioned in my note earlier today, InvenSense is going to need something new to help it grow.
