InvenSense hires Hartwell from Apple +2

According to his LinkedIn profile, Peter Hartwell, Ph.D. left Apple to join InvenSense last month, but the company just welcomed him aboard last week.  Dr. Hartwell has headed Motion Sensing for Apple for the past 4 years, and was a Distinguished Technologist in the field before that at HP Labs.  He is co-author of one of the breakthrough patents for 3-axis MEMs motion sensors. 

It's tough to say what fundamental impact this hire will have on InvenSense, and over what time period.  I do know that some developers are fairly impressed with Hartwell's work and excited about the hire.  At the very least, I see it as one more piece of evidence about just how high InvenSense is aiming.
