Integrated Device Technologies was a semiconductor component manufacturer.  My interest in it began when it acquired ZMDI, allowing the company to make and synergistically market a wide range of parts from wired and wireless power components, to industrial and automotive sensors, to high speed communications and memory controllers.

IDT was purchased by Renesas in March of 2019.  The stock roughly tripled over the 2.5 years between my initiating coverage and it receiving the buyout offer.  It stands as a prime example of the sorts of growth companies that I select and how there is often never any publication from me on them while opportunity still exists.
