ExOne machine at new GE center? +1
11:45 07-Apr-16
This report on General Electric's Center for Additive Technology Advancement shows what looks like an ExOne machine used for making sand molds. GE has traditionally used technologies other than ExOne's binder jetting for additive manufacturing, and the center's head says
most additive machines are still not production-ready.Indeed, the article mostly highlights DMLM (direct metal laser melting) technology for metal parts, and relegates binder jetting to prototype creation. Current XONE pricing is clearly short squeeze driven, and there is the possibility that association with GE could drive that further, but I continue to see extreme danger ahead of the next two financial reports, due in mid May and August.
