ExOne has announced a new machine that they claim really moves the capabilities from prototyping to true additive manufacturing.  This announcement actually is of some significance in that it puts a timetable on the companies transition.  The machine will be formally introduced in June and beta test models are expected to ship over the next 3 quarters, with broader commercial availability next year.
