Vuzix schedules 3Q19 report ?4

Vuzix has scheduled its third quarter report for after market close on November 7th.  The average of three analysts estimates is for a loss of 16 cents per share from $2.2M in sales, increasing to $3.8M for the holiday season.

There has been renewed interest in smart glasses, and this is the product iteration that management has really been banking on.  Accordingly, it has announced numerous new features and collaborations, making put up or shut up time for this report, as manufacturing requires volume in order to enable economies of scale.

The pricing on VUZI looks about right, but I am skeptical of the economic environment for this sort of product.  Although Vuzix is target corporate uses cases, this morning's disappointing consumer confidence numbers are still somewhat problematic.  Consequently, I'm playing hands off with VUZI even though I think there is a decent chance at product traction and a stock breakout.
