MicroVision has priced its stock placement of 3.5M shares, with an option for another half million over-allotment, at $1.70 per share.  I see this as similar to the AMSC placement where I called the $6 price a minimum fair value for shares.  In both cases, there are no warrants or other toxic financing associated with the deal, so individual investors can place some confidence in the due diligence done by institutional investors.  In short, this affirms my suspicion that the recent price drop in MVIS has completely priced in this event.
