Amsc orders and other GRoDT news +3

Amsc has announced $23M in new energy power systems orders, the day before it reports earnings.  The amount is almost a quarter's worth of revenue, but no time frame for delivery is given.  Nonetheless, this is evidence of the company benefiting from the renewables push, and management cites 50% YoY growth with strong bookings.  AMSC shares have jumped to almost $9 in the pre-market, which doesn't surprise me given the undervaluation that I've been harping on.

Xebec also has a new contract to provide an electrolyser for hydrogen production.  Figures aren't given and XEBEF hasn't traded pre-market.  The main point here seems to be to repeat the word hydrogen as much as possible, and I doubt there is much material impact.  That doesn't change my long term positive outlook for the company, though, or my eagerness to hear Xebec's next quarterly report, which is still almost two months off.

Even less significant, in my eyes, is eMagin's press release about demonstrating its AR headset displays, slated for commercialization next year.  Wake me up when they can talk about yields and pricing.  I was good for a 10% (14 cent) jump in EMAN in the pre-market, which was immediately cut to a 5 cent gain at the open; I continue to expect a volatile market for GRoDT stocks.
