new AMOLED speculative opportunity +4

TheStreetSweeper.org has just published a hit piece on eMagin (EMAN).  Long time readers will know that, unlike other short-sellers, I am highly sceptical of work from this source.

In this case, I find the projection for a stock price under $1 to be a little silly, since the company has more than 50 cents per share on the balance sheet, no debt, and, in my opinion, good technology.  In fact, I've been looking at the company as a possible acquisition target for Universal Display.  I don't know whether that will happen or not, and, as with most development stage companies, it's very hard to say when or if a true fundamental positive inflection point will occur.  Nonetheless, I see the dip off this event as a speculative opportunity.  The rebate rate of 2.5% doesn't hurt either, and may well be the real motivation for the new negative article.
