Coursa Retail gets press recognition +4
The Frost & Sullivan writeup
actually adds a little more detail and gives me hope that progress
is slowly being made. In particular, it notes pre-pilot programs
which have "validated the efficiency of the Coursa Retail
technology." That tells me that some customers are actually at
least looking at Coursa. Time to sale remains a critical factor,
and this alone isn't enough to change my neutral stance on INVN at
current prices around $7.50. Nonetheless, I felt it necessary to
revise the assessment below.
A press release from InvenSense this morning says that Coursa Retail has won two industry awards. It also notes that the platform will be demonstrated at the Path to Purchase Expo over the next few days. Awards are all well and good, but the longer the product goes without announcing an actual deployment, the dimmer the prospects look.
