Europe's largest TV maker to use AMOLEDs +4

Vestel is Europe's largest OEM TV manufacturer, and already markets all sorts of television technologies to resellers.  This report states that the company will be adding AMOLED TVs, with the panels almost certainly coming from its current collaboration with LG Display, to its lineup by early 2017.   What's really significant here, beyond adding another non-Chinese partner, is that Vestel is a high-volume, low-price operation.  As I've been saying all along, that's exactly what's needed to really get the market to take off.  I see Vestel's decision as one more confirming data point on my view that LG Display's technology lead will eventually enable it to dominate the television market.
