Recent decline in LPL -3

The recent decline in LPL is likely due to data from DisplaySearch that LCD prices continue to drop.  It remains to be seen how much this will actually affect LG Display as compared to smaller producers, like Sharp.   We'll know in a couple of weeks, and if the effect is muted for LGD, that could mean a near-term rebound.  I suspect this will be the case because the price drops are larger for smaller, more commoditized panels.  Either way, I think the current market move is indicative of short-term thinking on LPL.
