According to reports, LG Display is set to introduce professional-grade AMOLED monitors starting in 2016.  These carry much higher margins than other displays and should be a positive for LPL.  Right now, Sony is the main source for such products, and LG should easily be able to undercut them with superior scale. 

What will be interesting to me will be seeing if LG uses a WOLED or RGB architecture for these mid-sized screens.  I would expect the latter, especially since Samsung is also rumored to be interested in entering this market, but the report also echoes earlier ones of improving WOLED yields, which directly improves costs.
