Nightwatch is a halter and collar system for monitoring horses, which uses InvenSense technology.  This is actually an area where I have extensive background and contacts, and I believe it will find its place in the high-end.  Though the volumes of this particular product will almost certainly never be meaningful on their own, lots of small applications like this are what help bring margins up.  Furthermore, that projection could change if solutions like this were to work their way down the food chain to more common pets and even livestock.  The underlying company, Protequus, already notes the potential to
transform how we think about health & wellness monitoring in companion animals and livestock.
Of course, the larger, more important point here is that this is a great example of how the open InvenSense development platform fosters innovation and helps the company in all sorts of hard to imagine ways.
