more product updates: CUI, FIT, IDTI, AES, CTL +1

Heading into earnings on Wednesday, CUI Global has announced that it has received UL 9540 certification for ICE Block, thereby clearing it to market and sell the product more effectively.

Another leak from Fitbit indicates that the Versa will be available on April 16th.  Earlier is better, I suppose, but sales, price, and margins are the data points I care about.  Fitbit management has been negative on the last of them.

I'm a little more encouraged by the progress of 5G, as shown in this press release from IDT.  The commentary there about fiber backhaul reiterates my own thoughts related to CenturyLink's future growth with business pushes from Intel and with government.

Finally, we have a news item indicating that Brazil is getting its act together enough to continue the improvement of the AES balance sheet.  I don't think this will have an immediate effect on the stock, but for better or worse, I think American deregulation leads to positive business and revised valuation.
