pick list +3

Here is the pick list I sent before the subscription service was formally started.

You already know BGCP, OLED and ERII from my articles.

I'd say another favorite is Covanta (CVA), with a healthy dividend and cash flow set to grow in 2015 due to contracts with NYC and Boston.  Its recycling and waste to energy technology is what I think really sets it apart from other waste utilities, though.

If the goal of your money is more geared towards "get rich or die trying" then Superconductor Technologies (SCON) is interesting.  It's very difficult to quantify the size of the opportunity there, but the timing is becoming progressively more imminent and the rebate rate is 70%!

A much more established play is ABB.  Electric grids will have to be updated eventually and ABB is the company to do it.  The balance sheet and dividend make this a good one to buy on dips.

Somewhere in between the two is Polypore (PPO), a leader in battery technology.  I think it's certainly a better play than Tesla on the rise of an electric economy, though, that idea has fallen somewhat out of favor with lower hydrocarbons.  Still, the state of battery technology and Polypore's patent infringement wins for its Celgard product make it an enticing pick even without societal change.

All that said, I have to re-emphasize that OLED remains by far my overall Top Pick, despite the short-term media challenges that I've outlined in the latest article.

Hope that helps!
